• Uses only approved non-load-bearing attachment points.
• Does not change slot alignment, PTFE routing, or toolhead docking.
• Survives full travel and repeated filament changes without loosening.

Prototype Plan

Create a safe-mount envelope first, then design small motion modules that are visually driven by existing printer movement only.

Next build steps

• Define the safe-mount envelope before drawing any sculpture.

• Test repeated print and swap movement without loosening or calibration drift.

Measurements needed

• Safe decorative attachment zones and maximum added mass.
• Full travel envelope around the moving bed, toolhead, and rear slot row.
• Allowed motion amplitude for any linkage driven by existing printer movement.

Safety Boundaries

• Must use non-load-bearing attachment zones only.
• Must not attach to calibrated slot bodies, the toolhead crown gear stack, PTFE paths, or cutter path.
• Must keep decorative files separate from required mechanism files.
