Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the sale and use of digital products related to the MechAMS system provided by Sipers Mechatronics ("we", "us"). By purchasing, downloading, or using any MechAMS files or related materials, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope and parties

MechAMS products consist of digital content such as STL/3MF models, G-code snippets, documentation, and configuration files. All products are delivered digitally and are intended for use with compatible 3D-printers, in particular the Bambu Lab A1.

2. Digital delivery and Stripe checkout

Purchases are completed via Stripe Checkout. Stripe handles checkout, payment processing, VAT/sales-tax calculation, and invoicing on our behalf. After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation and a download link or access instructions by email. Stripe's own terms and privacy notices apply to the checkout process and to the payment data you provide on Stripe's platform.

3. No refunds for digital products

MechAMS products are digital-only. Under EU consumer law, when you consent to immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal, your right to cancel ends once the download has begun. For this reason, all sales are final once you start downloading the files, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

By completing checkout you agree to receive immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal expires once the download or access starts. Please review the product description carefully before purchasing.

4. License and permitted use

Unless expressly stated otherwise, your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the MechAMS files, the G-code generator, and any output produced by the generator for your own 3D-printing projects.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the digital files, the G-code generator, or any G-code generated by the generator (in whole or in part, including modified versions) with third parties.
  • Upload any of the above to file-sharing platforms, forums, online marketplaces, code repositories, model repositories, or messaging channels.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, internal logic, or templates of the MechAMS G-code generator.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures, watermarks, fingerprints, or rate limits applied to the files or to generator output.
  • Share, transfer, or expose your account, magic-link, or download URL to anyone else.
  • Use the files, the generator, or the generator output as the basis for competing commercial products, derivative works, or paid services without a separate written license.

Commercial licensing options may be offered separately in the future. Unless explicitly granted, use is limited to personal and non-commercial projects.

4.1 Watermarking and traceability

To protect the MechAMS product and the rights of paying customers, files and G-code generated for you may include hidden identifiers (sometimes called fingerprints or watermarks) that allow Sipers Mechatronics to trace any leaked or redistributed copies back to the original purchase. These identifiers are processed under legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, the legitimate interest in protecting our intellectual property and ensuring that paying customers are not undercut by unauthorised redistribution. The identifiers themselves are not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to anti-piracy enforcement. If you would like more information about how identifiers are generated and stored, contact contact@sipersmechatronics.com.

4.2 Consequences of breach

If we determine that you have shared, redistributed, or otherwise violated this license, we reserve the right to (a) revoke your access to the MechAMS G-code generator and to any pending downloads, (b) refuse future purchases under any associated email address, and (c) pursue takedown notices, cease-and-desist letters, or other legal remedies against the responsible party. We may exercise these remedies cumulatively and without prior notice. No refund is owed for access revoked due to a license breach.

5. User responsibilities

MechAMS is an advanced mechanical system that interacts with third-party hardware. You are responsible for:

  • Correctly printing, assembling, and installing the system according to the documentation.
  • Ensuring that your printer, firmware, slicer configuration, and environment are compatible and safe.
  • Following the 3D-printer manufacturer's safety instructions and all applicable local regulations.
  • Testing mechanical clearances, motion limits, purge-wipe behaviour, and macros before unattended or long prints.

6. No affiliation with Bambu Lab

MechAMS is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bambu Lab or any other manufacturer. All trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification purposes.

7. Liability and warranty

MechAMS files and documentation are provided "as is". While reasonable care is taken in their design and testing, no guarantee is given that they are free from errors or suitable for every use case or printer setup.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Dutch and EU law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of MechAMS, including (but not limited to) damage to equipment, failed prints, lost time or materials, property damage, or personal injury. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor to restrict your statutory consumer rights.

8. Contact and support

For technical or product support, please contact support@sipersmechatronics.com. For general business or legal questions, you can use contact@sipersmechatronics.com. We aim to respond within 1–3 business days.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example if the MechAMS product range or applicable laws change. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
