Build support

TPU/PTFE completion kit

ConceptP1 - High - Urgency 4/5Build-completion support item

Roadmap item, not a released accessory yet. Files, pricing, checkout links, and compatibility claims wait until the validation gate passes.

Requirement

Problem
Some buyers cannot print TPU parts or do not know which PTFE/couplers are needed.
Why now
This is close to a paid-user blocker because users can print rigid parts and still be unable to finish a working system.
Exact requirement
Package or document the exact TPU parts, PTFE tube spec, couplers, and routing hardware needed after printing the rigid files.
Compatibility
A1 and A1 Mini release; final Mini tube lengths should follow the Mini routing notes.

Release Gate

BOM, supplier links, and 8-slot routing diagram are stable.

Acceptance criteria

  • Lists exact TPU parts, PTFE spec, couplers, and quantities for 4-slot and expanded builds.
  • Explains what a buyer can do if they cannot print TPU 95A.
  • Separates required completion parts from optional upgrades.

Launch assets

  • BOM table with supplier-neutral specs.
  • One routing photo or diagram reviewed against the mechanism reference.
  • Clear wording for buyers who cannot print TPU 95A.

Prototype Plan

Turn the BOM and buyer routing checklist into a kit-ready list, then decide whether this ships as a docs-only guide, affiliate list, or physical pack.

Next build steps

  • Build a supplier-neutral kit checklist from the current download manifest and manual.
  • Verify quantities against a full 4-slot and expanded 8-slot build.
  • Decide whether the first release is a docs-only checklist, affiliate list, or physical pack.

Measurements needed

  • PTFE tube length range for 4-slot and expanded 8-slot A1 builds.
  • Exact coupler/Y-splitter count for current release packaging.
  • TPU printed-part list, mass, and preferred durometer.

Safety Boundaries

  • Must not imply rigid parts are optional if TPU 95A parts are required for reliable drive contact.
  • Must not sell or recommend unverified PTFE routing for A1 Mini before measurements exist.
  • Must keep supplier references separate from any required safety or warranty disclaimer.

Evidence source

Buyer comments ask what extra materials are needed and how to finish the 8-tube routing.

Validation Tests

Quantity reconciliation

Cross-check the kit list against one full A1 build and the buyer download manifest.

Pass: No required non-printed part is missing and optional parts are clearly separated.

Routing completeness check

Route every listed PTFE path on a real A1 build using only the kit checklist.

Pass: All configured slots can load and unload without extra unlisted fittings.
