A1 Mini Release

A1 Mini support is available. The shared tolerance downloads are the same as the A1 release, the protected download page includes the Mini top bar, and the unlocked generator carries the A1 Mini toolchange path.

Printing order

Start with the shared A1/A1 mini tolerance ZIP, then download the A1 Mini Top Bar from the Shared files section. More visual explanations and setup guides will be added over the next few days.

A1 mini launch notes

  • The A1 Mini launch package is complete for buyers: shared tolerance ZIPs, the Mini top bar, and the Mini generator preset are live.
  • The A1 Mini toolchange macro is aligned with the measured Mini slot row.
  • Confirm the A1 Mini slot map against the generated macro before running a real print.
  • Run load, unload, and change-slot generator output on the A1 Mini before long unattended prints.
  • More visual explanations, routing photos, and guide material are coming over the next few days.

Download package

  • Use the same tolerance ZIPs as the A1 release for the shared parts.
  • The A1 Mini Top Bar 3MF is available on the protected download page.
  • Generator preset tied to the measured Mini slot coordinates.
  • Use the Mini top bar with the same slot bodies from the tolerance ZIP.
  • Use the A1 Mini printer button in the generator before exporting G-code.

Top bar splitting

  1. The top bar is intentionally left as one complete model.
  2. Print it in one piece on a larger printer, split it into smaller dovetailed parts for the A1 mini bed, or shorten it if you are building fewer slots.
  3. In Bambu Studio, open the 3MF, select the bar, and press Split model.
  4. At the top, change the dropdown from Linear to Dovetail, then slice the bar into two parts.
  5. Check the dovetail orientation before printing. If the dovetail points straight down, the second part can slide downward, although the installed slots should help keep the bar together.
